Slumping and Glass Casting

Glass slumping and casting is one of the popular glass shaping or molding processes. Largely employed in architectural glass processing, these processes are conducted under several controlled variations. Heat is one of the most controlled variations in the glass slumping and casting process.

Nowadays, glass casting is performed using specially designed furnaces. Casso-Solar Technologies provide glass casting furnaces in combination with glass benders. Casso-Solar Technologies glass slumping and casting systems are available with movable floors.

These systems can move the system floor within close proximity to the multi-zoned heater bank. Sand or pattern molds can be used to create a pattern to mold the glass.

Our glass casting furnaces serve three purposes:
