Glass Lamination

Heat Processing Equipment for Glass Lamination Processes

Casso-Solar Technologies has been making equipment to produce laminated glass for nearly the entirety of our existence. Our machines are robust and capable of handling high volume production.  Some of the equipment we have built for this application has been in service since the 1980’s.

Laminated glass is often called “safety glass” and is used in a wide variety of applications, both architectural and automotive.  Glass is laminated to provide features such as impact resistance, sound reduction, protection against forced entry, among others. Our line of industrial ovens, dryers, furnaces and glass lamination equipment can be used to produce the following types of glass (but is not limited to):

  • Standard Laminated Window Glass
  • Shower Enclosures
  • Stair Treads and Railings
  • Hurricane-Rated Window Glass
  • Security Glass for Storefronts and other applications
  • Appliance Glass
  • Structural Applications

Customers producing laminated glass come in two main varieties – high and low volume.  For low volume customers we offer a vacuum bag batch lamination system, with production rates up to 1,700 square feet per day for the biggest models.  This equipment runs batches of product in 2-3 hour cycles.  For high volume customers we offer a continuous nip roller lamination systems, with production rates as high as 30,000 square feet per day.  This equipment is conveyorized and processes parts continuously.

The links below contain further information on each of the different types of lamination equipment that we offer, as well as some accessories we provide to make the process easier.
