Vacuum Assist System for Assembling Large Parts for Lamination
For most glass manufacturers, assembly in the clean room prior to lamination is done by hand. For smaller parts this does not pose an issue, but for larger parts lifting the top lite accurately into place is a challenge. To resolve this challenge Casso-Solar can provide an overhead vacuum lift assist system. The top and bottom lites are registered into position automatically on the assembly conveyors in the cleanroom, and then the overhead system picks the top lite up and places it accurately aligned onto the bottom lite.
